Jamshid Mazaheri was born in 1963 in Teheran, Iran. He was interested in martial arts in the early ages of his childhood. He started to train Kung Fu and Taekwondo when he became 13 years old. After several years of training, he concentrated his training on Taekwondo beacuse of the rapid and spectacular kicking and punching techniques of this art, which are distinguishable from another systems in martial arts. Although Taekwondo was very popular at that time in Iran and it was beeing taught and practiced in both millitary and clubs across the country. Jamshid has trained Taekwondo under different Iranian and Korean masters, who were the pioneers of this martial art in the country. These honorable masters are named here. Jamshid started his training under master Nader Khoda-Moradi, who was the bronze medal winner at the world championship in that period. After a while he trained under Grand Master Asghar Nazari (7th dan), whom he received his 1st Dan black belt from. Asghar Fathi was another master instructor, whom Jamshid trained under in the period after master Nader Khoda-Moradi. The latest periods of Jamshid's Taekwondo-life in Iran continued with Grand Master Ali Modiri (9th dan) and nevertheless the Korean Grand Master Shin-Chul Kang. Through all of these masters' instructions, disciplin and tremendous efforts Jamhid kept a solid motivation in order to concrete a strong Taekwondo spirit and effectivity, which at the same moment unified with his physics. Jamshid´s training took place at four different governmental and private clubs in Teheran, where through hard and sometimes exhausting traning sessions with a duration of 4-6 hours dailly, he built a champion carrier in the province championships. By time passing, Jamshid raised his level to a higher place and became the national champion several times and therefore defended his place at the national Taekwondo team of Iran. Jamshid believs today, that his best achievment in a Taekwondo competition has been a lost fight to the former Iranian world championships bronze medal winner. Jamshid migrated to Denmark in 1986. In 1991, he found his love, Roshanak, and got married to her. Today they are the happy parents of three sons, Shervin, Arvin and Julian. Jamshid's first participation in a Taekwondo championship in Danmark took place at the Choi´s Venner Tournament, which was held in honor to our Korean Grand Master Choi Kyoung An (9th dan). I 1988 Jamshid won the first place and was dedicated the "Best Fighter" Cup in the Choi´s Venner Tournament. Along the time Jamshid has participated in a series of national and international tournaments, in which he gained tremendous results. As an example, he managed to take the Danish champion title in techniques two times. Jamshid stablished Vollsmose Taekwondo Club - Baekdo in 1990. This club was the third strongest Danish club in Taekwondo fighting in several years. Jamshid was the chairman and chiefinstructor of this club until 1998, when the club terminated its activities. In 2004, after recommendations by one of his earlier Taekwondo students and another Taekwondo friend Jamshid joined to the one-year-old team of Odense Martial Arts Club, which changed its name to Odense City Taekwondo Club - Baekdo under a general assembly. At the present time Jamshid is the chairman and chiefinstructor of this club which also undergoes Odense City municipality as a sport union. Jamshid works as ergotrapeut for the Odense Municipality affiliates and act as a free-lance interpreter for this authority as well. He is also a civil judge of a jury panel at the Odense City Court and has been the chairman of the Integration Council of the Odense City in the period 2001-2005. He kept the vice chairman position in this council until April 2008.

Jamshid was not allowed in fighting tournaments since 1991, because of his high rank of Taekwondo.
